Aquatech is seeking an experienced UPW Service Manager to lead the growth and execution of our Services business within the semiconductor industry. This role is responsible for developing a scalable service organization supporting Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), reclaimed water, wastewater recycle and reuse, and related utility systems serving advanced semiconductor fabrication facilities. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise, commercial leadership, and operational excellence to expand service revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and support long-term strategic growth.

The UPW Services Manager will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee.

Job Description:

  • Lead business development efforts for UPW, wastewater reuse, and service opportunities across semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans aligned with Aquatech's service objectives.
  • Build relationships with semiconductor customers, EPC firms, technology partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Define service offerings, including preventative maintenance, performance optimization, reliability programs, commissioning support, resident service contracts, and long-term O&M services.
  • Provide technical leadership for UPW system,s including RO, EDI, ion exchange, degasification, UV oxidation, TOC reduction, membrane systems, polishing technologies, and high-purity distribution loops.
  • Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and optimization of UPW, reclaim, and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Oversee project execution, startup, commissioning, and service delivery activities while maintaining safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.
  • Develop pricing strategies, proposals, scope definitions, contract negotiations, and lifecycle service programs.
  • Establish service delivery standards, KPIs, operating procedures, and quality systems across the service organization.
  • Lead recruitment, training, mentoring, and development of field service engineers, site technicians, and service managers.

Physical Job Demands:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 8-15+ years of experience in industrial water treatment, UPW systems, or semiconductor facility utilities.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting semiconductor fabrication facilities and ultra-pure water systems.
  • Experience in service management, business development, operations, project execution, or customer account leadership.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment process technologies, reliability programs, maintenance practices, and operational excellence principles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with water reuse, wastewater treatment, ZLD, and sustainability initiatives within semiconductor facilities.
  • Experience with O&M, BOO, BOOT, or long-term service contracts.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation, PLC/SCADA systems, process controls, and digital monitoring platforms.
  • Experience building and scaling service organizations across multiple customer sites.
  • P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, and service business management experience.
