What You’ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of inpatients and outpatients
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, involving patients and families
• Document patient evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required documentation
• Participate in patient care conferences, family meetings, and departmental activities
• Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and staff regarding care plans
• Supervise and coordinate student programs and volunteers
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient coverage and safety
• Support performance improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies and department productivity standards

What You Need
Required:

• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure
• BLS certification from AHA
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ability to adhere to documentation and clinical standards

Preferred:

• Experience in inpatient rehab or acute care settings
• Experience supervising students or staff
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
