    Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

    Glendive, Montana

    Riam Recruiting is partnering with a respected rural healthcare critical access hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Urgent Care team. This provider will treat acute illnesses and injuries in patients of all ages while collaborating with physicians and clinical support staff.

    Position Highlights

    • Salary: $108,160–$124,800, based on experience
    • Approximately 32 hours per week
    • Four weekday shifts plus every other Saturday from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
    • No Sundays
    • Full benefits for employees working at least 20 hours per week
    • Two months of temporary housing assistance
    • Potential relocation assistance

    Specific weekday scheduling and opportunities for additional hours will be discussed during the interview process.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries across the lifespan
    • Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations
    • Develop evidence-based treatment plans
    • Order and interpret laboratory tests, x-rays, EKGs, and other diagnostic studies
    • Perform approved procedures within scope of practice
    • Prescribe medications according to Montana regulations
    • Identify patients requiring emergency or specialty care
    • Educate patients and families regarding treatment and follow-up care
    • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff
    • Maintain timely and accurate documentation

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
    • Montana licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
    • Current national certification
    • Ability to obtain medical staff privileges
    • Current BLS certification
    • Urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or acute-care experience preferred
