    Description

    On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Medical Director to lead clinical operations while providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative occupational medicine setting. This unique opportunity combines hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities, allowing you to guide a multidisciplinary team while improving workforce health.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide exceptional patient care while serving as the clinical leader for the medical team.
    • Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care.
    • Lead and mentor physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.
    • Collaborate with therapists, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
    • Ensure compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and supervisory guidelines.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with employer clients, payers, and community partners.
    • Support staffing, operational planning, and clinic performance initiatives.
    • Contribute to budget planning and monitor key operational and financial metrics.
    • Champion organizational values while promoting employee engagement and professional development.

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO with an unrestricted medical license.
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty.
    • Previous leadership or medical management experience preferred.
    • Strong clinical, communication, and team leadership skills.
    • Experience in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine is highly desirable.
    • Ability to build collaborative relationships with physicians, staff, clients, and stakeholders.
    • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and operational excellence.

    Schedule

    • Monday through Friday
    • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • No nights
    • No weekends
    • No holidays
    • No on-call responsibilities
