Description
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Medical Director to lead clinical operations while providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative occupational medicine setting. This unique opportunity combines hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities, allowing you to guide a multidisciplinary team while improving workforce health.

Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional patient care while serving as the clinical leader for the medical team.
Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care.
Lead and mentor physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.
Collaborate with therapists, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and supervisory guidelines.
Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with employer clients, payers, and community partners.
Support staffing, operational planning, and clinic performance initiatives.
Contribute to budget planning and monitor key operational and financial metrics.
Champion organizational values while promoting employee engagement and professional development.
Qualifications
MD or DO with an unrestricted medical license.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty.
Previous leadership or medical management experience preferred.
Strong clinical, communication, and team leadership skills.
Experience in Occupational Medicine, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine is highly desirable.
Ability to build collaborative relationships with physicians, staff, clients, and stakeholders.
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and operational excellence.

Monday through Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No nights
No weekends

No on-call responsibilities
