HealthPlus Staffing is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Physician for a practice in Gage Park, IL. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Urgent Care, and walk-in treatments. The Urgent Care Physician will provide medical care to patients in need of immediate attention, as well as provide follow-up care and referrals.
Responsibilities
Work 12-14 Shifts per month
Provide medical care to patients in an urgent care setting
Provide timely, efficient, and compassionate care to patients
Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe medications
Evaluate and manage urgent care cases and emergencies
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses
Provide follow-up care and referrals to specialists as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient
Provide education and support to patients and their families
Maintain a collaborative relationship with other healthcare providers
Maintain licensure, certifications, and other qualifications as applicable
Qualifications
Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Proficient in performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and prescribing medications
Strong understanding of medical terminology, emergency protocols, and clinical procedures
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed
Current licensure in the state of Illinois and CPR/BLS certification
