Primary Care Physician Opportunity - Northridge, CA Join one of Southern California s fastest-growing Independent Physician Associations offering a welcoming and supportive environment focused on quality care and physician success. We are seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician committed to delivering excellent clinical outcomes and compassionate care. Position Details:
- Conduct comprehensive health histories and physical exams
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans; clearly communicate with patients
- Prescribe and refill medications, including controlled substances, in compliance with all regulations
- Perform clinic-based, inpatient, and outpatient procedures as appropriate to training
- Manage care transitions and coordinate with specialists, case managers, and allied health professionals
- Review and act on diagnostic results (labs, imaging, EKGs) in a timely manner
- Use NextGen EMR (or other designated systems) to document patient care per policy
- Cover for other providers and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Refer patients to specialty care when appropriate
- Engage in performance improvement, peer review, and protocol development
- Respond to patient communications via phone and patient portal promptly
- Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (PAs/NPs) as assigned
- Candidate Requirements:
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in primary care specialty
- Active California medical license
- DEA certification
- Additional credentials based on specialty
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary: $240,000 $340,000 annually (DOE)
