Urgent Care Physician

Position Title: Urgent Care Physician

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Specialty/Setting: Urgent Care Clinic

Schedule: 7 shifts every two weeks, totaling 14-15 shifts per month.

Hours: Weekdays 8:00 am- 8:00 pm, Weekends 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

Ideal Start Date: Immediate

Patient Volume: Approximately 30-35 patients per day

Job Requirements:

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine

- Must have experience treating patients of all ages

- DOT Certification preferred (Can be obtained after hiring)

Compensation: 120$ per hour

Responsibilities:

- Provide timely and compassionate medical care to urgent care patients

- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments

- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute medical conditions

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary

- Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic health record system

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school

- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine

- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Pennsylvania

- DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
