    Job Title: Urgent Care Physician
    Location: San Antonio, Texas
    Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Urgent Care Physician to join our growing team in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, treating a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who thrives in an urgent care setting and enjoys working collaboratively with a skilled medical team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses and minor injuries.

    • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (lab, imaging, EKGs, etc.).

    • Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, abscess drainage, and wound care.

    • Prescribe appropriate medications and counsel patients on treatment plans and follow-up care.

    • Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver efficient and compassionate care.

    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

    • Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

    • Provide referrals for patients requiring ongoing specialty care or emergency services when appropriate.

    Qualifications:

    • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.

    • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine.

    • Current, unrestricted Texas medical license (or ability to obtain prior to start).

    • DEA license and current BLS/ACLS certification.

    • Previous urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred, but not required.

    • Strong clinical, communication, and decision-making skills.
