We are seeking a dedicated, highly skilled Permanent Urgent Care Provider to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a pivotal member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our patient's lives, providing urgent, non-life-threatening care. Responsibilities:

As a Urgent Care Provider, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Delivering high-quality, urgent care to patients with various injuries and illnesses.
2. Performing minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
3. Interpreting X-Rays and EKGs to diagnose conditions and guide treatment plans.
4. Providing occupational medicine services and managing workers' compensation cases.
5. Educating patients on disease prevention, health maintenance, and appropriate at-home care.
6. Making critical clinical decisions based on evidence-based medicine.
7. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
8. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of advancements in emergency medicine and general healthcare practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

1. A degree in Medicine from an accredited institution.
2. Board Certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an urgent care or emergency room setting.
4. Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
5. Strong skills in X-Ray and EKG interpretation.
6. Experience in occupational medicine and workers' compensation.
7. Demonstrated ability to make sound clinical decisions.
8. Extensive knowledge of and ability to apply evidence-based medicine.
9. Excellent patient education skills.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations with composure.
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
