Job Title: RN – Urgent Care Location: Olympia, WA Duration: 3 months contract (possibility of extension) Shift Time: Day Shift | 12 x 3 | Every other weekend & holidays required (Start Times 9AM, 10AM or 11AM – Variable)
Note:Experience in an Emergency Room (ER), Emergency Department (ED), or Trauma Center is required
Responsibilities Include:
Assess, triage, and provide nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring immediate intervention.
Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and other prescribed interventions.
Perform patient assessments, wound care, and other clinical procedures as needed.
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement appropriate patient care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment, medications, follow-up care, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Follow all patient safety, infection control, and facility policies.
Required Experience & Certifications:
Must have 1 years of recent experience in a (ER), (ED), or Trauma Center is required
Active RN Washington State license or Compact State License
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
