Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM) – Washington, PA

 

A veterinary hospital is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM) to join its growing team. This role is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy a fast-paced environment, diverse caseloads, and the opportunity to provide timely care for patients requiring immediate medical attention.Whether you have experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or general practice, this position offers the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine while working alongside a collaborative and supportive team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations

  • Develop and implement treatment plans

  • Manage urgent and non-critical emergency cases

  • Utilize diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing

  • Perform medical procedures appropriate to experience and training

  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

  • Educate pet owners on treatment recommendations and follow-up care

  • Work closely with veterinary technicians and hospital staff

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution

  • Active veterinary license or eligibility for licensure

  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
