We’re looking for a full-time Associate Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our small urgent care practice in Metairie. This is a privately owned hospital with a wonderful lead doctor and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. The culture is one of the biggest reasons people enjoy being here — it's collaborative, supportive, and friendly without feeling overly corporate.

The practice sees a variety of urgent cases involving companion animals, giving you the opportunity to handle interesting and challenging medicine without the pace and overnight schedule of a traditional emergency hospital. You'll have the support of an experienced lead veterinarian and a team that is there to help when you need it.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing high-quality urgent care for dogs and cats
• Evaluating and treating a variety of same-day and urgent medical cases
• Performing surgery as appropriate, including wound repair and intra-abdominal procedures
• Developing treatment plans and communicating recommendations clearly with clients
• Working closely with the veterinary and support team to provide excellent patient care
• Building strong relationships with clients while delivering compassionate, practical care

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time: 4 eight-hour shifts per week
• Weekday shifts are generally 2:00 PM–8:00 PM
• Rotating weekend shifts
• ProSal: $115,000–$140,000 base salary included
