This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys fast-paced medicine and complex cases but wants to move away from the demanding overnight schedules traditionally associated with emergency practice. The hospital bridges the gap between routine check-ups and emergency care, providing walk-in treatment for urgent, non-life-threatening conditions during evenings and weekends.

About the Practice

The hospital operates within a modern urgent care model designed to give veterinarians greater medical autonomy while providing significant operational and business support behind the scenes.

You'll work alongside skilled veterinary technicians, assistants and client care professionals in a collaborative environment focused on efficient triage, diagnostics and treatment. The wider organization is structured to provide operational support across HR, talent acquisition, finance and marketing, allowing clinical leaders to focus on medicine and patient care.

The urgent care caseload may include:
• Vomiting and diarrhea
• Acute gastrointestinal conditions
• Lacerations and wound management
• Minor trauma
• Allergic reactions
• Ear and skin conditions
• Urinary concerns
• Eye conditions
• Acute pain
• Lameness
• Respiratory concerns
• Toxin exposure
• Diagnostic workups
• Fluid therapy

• Stabilization of urgent patients
• Referral of critical cases requiring specialist or overnight care
