ComForCare Home Care is urgently hiring an experienced Caregiver to provide personalized in-home senior care for a client in Elgin, Illinois.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys providing hands-on assistance, companionship, and dependable support to older adults while helping them remain comfortable and independent in their own home.

CNA certification is not required. We are looking for an experienced caregiver with a strong background in senior care, home care, personal care, or companion care.

Position Details

Position: Experienced Caregiver

Shift: Morning / Day Shift

Location: Elgin, Illinois

What Youll Do

As a Caregiver, youll provide compassionate support throughout the clients daily routine and help create a safe and comfortable home environment.

• Provide one-on-one in-home senior care and companionship.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide personal care while respecting the clients privacy, dignity, and independence.
• Assist with mobility, walking, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Prepare meals and provide assistance with nutrition and hydration.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining an organized home.
• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Follow the clients individualized care plan.
• Observe and communicate changes in the clients condition to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

What Were Looking For

Were looking for a reliable and experienced caregiver-not necessarily a CNA.

• Previous professional caregiving experience required.
• CNA certification not required.
• Experience in senior care, elderly care, home care, personal care, companion care, or private duty caregiving preferred.
• Experience assisting with ADLs and personal care.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a clients home.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Current Auto Insurance.
• Reliable transportation.

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
