Position Details:
Title: Machine Operator / Finishing Operator
Location: Carterville, GA
Responsibilities:
- Pick up packages of yarn from as low as floor level and place on creel package approximately 12 lbs ea, 260/shift.
- Take finished packages off Doff tray to place on buggy - packages weigh from 1 lb - 10 lb ea.
- Push finished buggy to Gilbo inspection area - weight up to 600 lbs.
- Bending to creel, as well as rethread machine. Placing packages at shoulder height on creel and buggy.
- Use of tools including ring knife or snips.
- Take twisted yarn off the Doff conveyor and place in a plastic box at the end of the Twister.
- Push buggy to cable twister - weighs approximately 360 lbs.
- Place packages on creel posts that are from 20 inches from floor to about shoulder height.
- Thread machine into Heatset box, then thread into take-up winder on rear of machine.
