Airport Badged Escorting Contractor

Location: FBO / Airport
Assignment: 3 weeks, with possible extension based on project needs

Job Summary:
Responsible for escorting vendor personnel and contractors through restricted airport, ramp, access-road, and fuel-farm areas during fuel farm modernization and installation activities. The role requires strong situational awareness, safety focus, communication skills, reliability, and the ability to follow airport security and site procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Escort vendors and contractors in restricted airport and fuel-farm areas.
• Ensure escorted personnel remain with the escort at all times, including breaks.
• Coordinate with FBO management, ramp staff, vendors, project teams, and airport personnel.
• Follow approved access routes, airport rules, ramp speed limits, signage, and safety procedures.
• Maintain awareness of aircraft, vehicles, equipment, pedestrians, and other hazards.
• Maintain required 50-foot clearance from aircraft unless otherwise directed.
• Use required flags, lights, vehicle markings, and safety equipment.
• Provide professional communication and customer service.

Requirements:

• Must pass a 10-year background check and obtain an airport badge before starting.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and may be subject to random testing.
• Must complete required airport/FBO training.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to remain onsite during assigned coverage hours.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Previous airport, aviation, ramp, security, construction, logistics, or field-support experience is preferred.
