ComForCare Home Care - Central DuPage is seeking an experienced CNA, Caregiver, or HHA to provide dependable weekend care for a senior client in Wheaton, Illinois.

This position is ideal for a caregiver who is comfortable with mechanical lifts and safe transfers and wants a consistent weekend schedule while making a meaningful difference through one-on-one home care.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Location: Wheaton, IL
• Position: CNA / Caregiver / HHA
• Schedule: Saturday & Sunday
• Shift: Weekend Day Shift
• Employment: Part-Time
• Special Requirement: Hoyer Lift experience
• Setting: In-home senior care

WHAT YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

The caregiver will help provide safe, respectful, and individualized care throughout the weekend shift.

Responsibilities may include:

• Using a Hoyer Lift/mechanical lift for safe client transfers
• Assisting with repositioning and mobility
• Providing personal care and hygiene assistance
• Supporting bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Providing incontinence care when needed
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding as appropriate
• Providing medication reminders according to the care plan
• Offering companionship and meaningful interaction
• Supporting safe movement throughout the home
• Maintaining a clean and comfortable care environment
• Performing light housekeeping related to the clients needs
• Following the individualized care plan
• Reporting changes or concerns to the appropriate care team

EXPERIENCE WE VALUE

We welcome professionals with experience as:

• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
• Caregiver
• HHA - Home Health Aide
• Personal Care Assistant
• Private Duty Caregiver
• Home Care Aide

Required:

• Previous professional caregiving experience
• Hands-on Hoyer Lift or mechanical lift experience
• Understanding of safe transfers and positioning
• Ability to provide hands-on personal care
• Dependable weekend availability

Preferred:

• Senior home care experience
• CNA, HHA, or PCA experience
• Experience assisting clients with limited mobility
• Dementia or Alzheimers care experience
• Knowledge of fall-prevention and safe patient-handling practices
