ComForCare Home Care – Central DuPage is hiring
reliable CNAs, Caregivers, and HHAs to provide compassionate
in-home senior care in Glen Ellyn, IL.
We're looking for experienced caregivers who want to work on weekends and need flexibility in their schedules.
Short shifts and longer shifts are available, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for part-time weekend work or additional caregiving hours.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a
Weekend Caregiver, CNA, or HHA, you'll provide one-on-one support to seniors and other clients who need assistance at home.
Your work may include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Providing personal care and hygiene assistance
- Helping with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Providing incontinence care when needed
- Assisting with mobility and safe transfers
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
- Providing medication reminders according to the care plan
- Offering companionship and meaningful conversation
- Supporting clients with their daily routines
- Performing light housekeeping related to client care
- Helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
- Following individualized care plans
- Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition
- Communicating with family members and the ComForCare care team
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're seeking dependable professionals with experience as a
CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, Caregiver, HHA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or Private Duty Caregiver.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous professional caregiving or senior care experience
- Be comfortable providing hands-on personal care
- Understand ADL assistance and safe mobility support
- Be compassionate, patient, and respectful
- Be dependable and punctual
- Be comfortable working independently in a client's home
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team
- Be available for weekend caregiving assignments
Experience with
dementia care, Alzheimer's care, mobility assistance, companionship, and personal care is a plus.
