URGENT NEED - AM shift Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver

Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable, safety-focused, team player Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver to support warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and production operations. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts, moving materials throughout the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with general warehouse functions to ensure efficient workflow and production support. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Shift is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday weekend work.

Hours 5AM to 2PM

MUST HAVE A VALID NC DRIVERS LICENSE

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders and shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions using computerized inventory and production systems.
• Assist with material handling, packaging, labeling, and other warehouse-related tasks.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, quality standards, and operating guidelines.
• Assist in other warehouse, shipping, receiving, or production areas as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required; forklift certification is a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environment preferred.
• Shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order-picking experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, shipping documents, and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
