Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Urologist, you will join our thriving practice at CommonSpirit Memorial Urology Associates, located in Hixson, TN, just north of our Chattanooga location. Every day you will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for a full spectrum of urologic conditions in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. You will provide office-based and operative interventions to improve urinary, prostate, kidney and bladder health.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Physician, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Urology patients, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a supportive clinic environment. In your role, you will:

  • Provide high quality compassionate patient-centered Urologic care. This Urologist will play a key role in the expansion of the state-of-the art Urology program.
  • Focus on providing appropriate, compassionate, and state-of-the art surgical and medical care for our patients. Our staff and surgeons comprise a dedicated and collaborative team that support each other and work together to create a positive work environment.
  • Weekly schedule will include outpatient clinics, outpatient procedures, and operative cases. On-call responsibilities will include call at Memorial Hospital Georgia and Chattanooga locations with equitable rotation with peers.

  • Utilize Epic EMR

We are offering a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes a guaranteed base salary for your first year, production and quality incentives, commencement bonus, and relocation assistance. Benefits include health and wellness benefits, 401k with match, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, CME (5 days) & allowance, and potential eligibility for federal student loan forgiveness.


Job Requirements

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
  • Board-Certified / Board-Eligible in Urology from the ABU (American Board of Urology)
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • Ability to obtain an active medical license & DEA in the state of Georgia and/or Tennessee

Preferred

  • da Vinci Robotic surgical experience is preferred
