Urology Advanced Practice Provider (PA-C/ARNP) - Full-time | Renton, WA We are currently hiring for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Urology APP with a desire to build a practice working in a collaborative, collegial, work environment. We have a team-based model approach to patient-centered care. Our team currently consists of 4 Urologists, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 1 Physician Assistant and 1 RN. Our clinic has office space in Renton and Covington, this position is based in Renton. About the position: Clinic Hours: 7a- 5p General Schedule: 5-day work week Call: No call required, options available Average # of patients/day: 17-22 Key Responsibilities: Inpatient Care Assist with daily rounds, consults, and discharges Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans Manage post-operative patients Surgical Assisting Function as first assist in urologic surgeries, including robotic bedside assist Prepare patients for procedures and support intraoperative needs Participate in pre- and post-operative care Outpatient Clinic Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of urologic conditions Perform routine and specialized procedures (e.g., catheter placement, cystoscopy assistance, etc.) Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care Ensure timely documentation and follow-up care coordination Qualifications: Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority Previous experience in urology or other surgical fields preferred Located in Renton, Washington, Valley Medical Center is the largest nonprofit healthcare provider between Seattle and Tacoma, serving more than 600,000 residents.
