Shifts Available: Day Shift 

Hours: 8-hour shifts- 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (Monday through Friday)

Location: St. Joseph Medical Center- Kansas City, MO

 

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Urology Clinic team. In this outpatient role, the LPN works closely with physicians, providers, and clinical staff to support high-quality, patient-centered care.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who enjoys building relationships with patients, working collaboratively with a clinical team, and providing care in a physician-practice environment.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included, but are not limited to):

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient urology clinic.
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and office-based procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and other clinical information.
• Administer medications and treatments within the LPN scope of practice.
• Assist providers with procedures, specimen collection, patient education, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records while collaborating with providers and clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications:

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

 

• Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing
• Current State LPN license
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained
• One year of experience as an LPN, preferred
