What You'll Do
  • Provide urology consultation and follow-up care for inpatient and outpatient cases
  • Conduct scheduled rounding and assess new admissions in the urology unit
  • Support in managing conditions such as kidney stones, hematuria, and difficult catheter placements
  • Respond to 2-5 patient calls per 24 hours, with onsite response within 20 minutes
  • Document all call activities and clinical notes accurately for audit purposes
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
  • Participate in patient transfers, procedures, and consults as needed
What You Need
  • Valid U.S. medical license in Urology, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant certification
  • Experience in urology, inpatient care, or surgical settings preferred
  • Ability to work independently and respond swiftly to call-backs
  • Good communication skills and ability to document accurately

This position offers comprehensive 24-hour call coverage at a respected facility in Marquette, providing vital urology services for inpatient and outpatient populations. The provider will be expected to perform rounding, consultation, and responses to call-backs, ensuring timely and quality patient care.
