Required Skills:
- Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Urology
- Minimum of 1 year relevant clinical experience
- Valid DEA license
- Active PA license or the ability to obtain it quickly
- Proficiency in robotic surgery and core urological procedures (vasectomy, cystoscopy, prostate procedures, ureteroscopy, penile implants, lithotripsy, circumcision, orchiopexy)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment with diverse teams and patient demographics
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Experience supervising Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
- Additional surgical or procedural specialty knowledge
- Experience working in trauma level 1 hospital settings
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Urology
- At least one year of post-residency experience in a similar clinical setting
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work full-time locum shifts with flexible scheduling, including 24-hour on-call coverage
- Willingness to support occasional pediatric cases and emergent procedures
- Credentialing within approximately 90 days; temporary licensing options may be available
