Job Description
- Provide operational support for large-scale enterprise campus networks, including Juniper switching, routing, and wireless infrastructure.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Juniper EX and QFX switches across enterprise network environments.
- Support Mist Wireless Assurance, Mist Wired Assurance, and Marvis AI for network monitoring, performance optimization, and AI-driven troubleshooting.
- Lead complex incident investigations, fault isolation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation across wired and wireless networks.
- Support network migrations, infrastructure modernization, software upgrades, hardware refreshes, and large-scale deployments.
- Develop implementation plans, test procedures, validation plans, rollback procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Analyze network health, wireless user experience, service-level metrics, and performance trends to improve reliability and scalability.
- Coordinate technical escalations with HPE Networking support and engineering teams.
- Manage hardware lifecycle activities, including replacement planning and RMA coordination.
- Maintain network configurations, operational documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and technical knowledge-transfer materials.
Education
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent hands-on enterprise networking experience may be considered.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise production networks.
- Hands-on experience with Juniper EX Series and QFX Series switches.
- Strong Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking expertise.
- VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), link aggregation, multicast, and high-availability technologies.
- Routing protocols: OSPF and BGP.
- Hands-on experience with Juniper Mist Wireless Assurance, Mist Wired Assurance, and Marvis AI.
- Enterprise campus switching, routing, and wireless operations.
- Network troubleshooting, fault isolation, root cause analysis, and incident management.
- Network migrations, software upgrades, infrastructure refreshes, and deployment validation.
- Production network performance monitoring and wireless client experience analysis.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Skills
- EVPN/VXLAN architectures.
- Legacy wireless migration to Juniper Mist-managed environments.
- AI-driven network analytics, anomaly detection, and proactive issue resolution.
- Network automation and operational optimization.
- Hardware lifecycle management and RMA processes.
