Position Overview
We are seeking a Biospecimen Coordinator to support onsite biospecimen operations in a regulated laboratory or clinical research environment. This role is essential to ensuring accurate biospecimen logistics, proper storage, and reliable tracking throughout the specimen lifecycle. The ideal candidate is detail?oriented, organized, and comfortable working with documentation, inventory systems, and cross?functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
As a Biospecimen Coordinator, you will:
  • Oversee biospecimen logistics, including receipt, tracking, storage, and movement of biological samples
  • Ensure compliance with storage requirements, handling procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintain accurate sample inventory records to support traceability and accountability
  • Monitor sample conditions and verify proper labeling and documentation
  • Support documentation, data entry, and reporting related to biospecimen management
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure specimens are available and properly documented for downstream use
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies related to sample tracking or inventory
  • Follow established procedures to maintain data integrity and operational consistency
Required Qualifications
  • 0–5 years of relevant experience in biospecimen coordination, laboratory operations, clinical research, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Demonstrated problem?solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working in an onsite laboratory or operational environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with biospecimen or sample tracking software
  • Experience supporting documentation or inventory systems in regulated environments
Work Environment
  • This is a fully onsite position
  • Laboratory or operational setting requiring adherence to established procedures and standards
