| Experience | 8+ years of strong, hands-on programming experience with deep expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot. |
| Architecture | Proven track record of designing, developing, and managing distributed microservice architectures. |
| APIs & Messaging | Strong hands-on experience designing API ecosystems (RESTful & GraphQL) and event-driven architectures (Apache Kafka, NATS.IO). |
| Concurrency | Solid practical experience with concurrency and multi-threading to optimize performance and responsiveness. |
| DevOps & Cloud | 5+ years with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD. |
| BPMN | Practical experience in business process management and decision models (Camunda BPMN). |
| AI Workflows | Demonstrated ability to integrate AI coding workflows (proficiency in modern IDEs such as Kiro IDE is highly preferred). |
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Development
- Distributed Systems: Design, build, and optimize robust distributed microservice applications to ensure high-performance backend scalability.
- API Ecosystems: Develop, implement, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL services to support complex business capabilities and high-volume data querying.
- System Optimization: Analyze, revise, and document challenges in existing system logic to continuously improve system reliability and reduce technical debt.
- Technical Direction: Execute strategic decisions encompassing information architecture, software design, analytics, and instrumentation.
- Mentorship: Mentor team members, participate in code reviews, and foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and engineering excellence.
- Strategy & Road mapping: Partner with leadership and key stakeholders to define technology strategy, standards, and roadmaps—effectively bridging functional goals with technical capabilities.
- Project Delivery: Drive technical decisions on software development projects, estimate project scope, and produce comprehensive technical documentation.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Partner seamlessly across technical disciplines (including web and mobile) to ensure cohesive end-to-end service integration.
Engineering Excellence
- AI Integration: Champion AI-assisted coding workflows and automation techniques to efficiently divide large problem statements and enforce structural architecture practices.
- Best Practices: Adhere to and advocate for best practices in code development, version control, CI/CD, and test/build automation.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Telephony / IVR Systems: Experience with IVR technologies—including voice-to-XML conversion technologies, VXML, CCXML, SCXML, and the RIVR framework—to create and optimize effective IVR systems.
