Job Description: SSL / IT Business Partner for Marketing Operations
Duration: 8 Months 
Location: Cambridge Campus (Hybrid, 3 days/week in office)

Role Summary

The SSL / IT Business Partner for Marketing Operations supports US Commercial Marketing and Field teams by enabling the effective use, stability, and continuous improvement of Marketing Operations technologies. This role supports high-priority initiatives, including product launches, acquisition integrations, vendor migrations, and ongoing platform support across the Marketing Operations technology ecosystem.
This role serves as a key liaison between Marketing Operations stakeholders, Field Enablement teams, Speakers & Programming, and IT by translating business needs into actionable requirements, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring operational readiness for critical activities such as product launches, acquisitions, vendor migrations, and PI Planning cycles. Success in this role requires the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where alignment, clear communication, and timely decision-making are essential to delivering solutions across multiple platforms and therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Product Owner for Veeva Vault PromoMats by leading PI Planning, ensuring PI objectives align with business roadmap needs, supporting stakeholder satisfaction initiatives, and managing DevOps demand intake and prioritization. Partner closely with the Product Manager, Business Analysts, and DevOps team to support iteration prioritization and address team escalations as needed.
Identify business challenges and areas of opportunity, ensuring requirements are clearly documented, prioritized, and delivered.
Support DAM and taxonomy initiatives by helping establish unified taxonomy standards, metadata frameworks, and governance models across Veeva Vault PromoMats.
Support new product launches, acquisition integration activities, and platform migrations by managing project timelines, vendor coordination, and cross-functional readiness across key Marketing Operations applications.
Provide ongoing support for Marketing Operations platforms, including troubleshooting, issue analysis, vendor coordination, and guidance on system processes.
Explore and pilot AI-enhanced capabilities to optimize Marketing Operations processes and improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
8 years of experience supporting commercial, marketing operations, or field-facing technologies.
Hands-on experience supporting Veeva Vault platforms (PromoMats preferred) and related marketing operations systems.
Strong experience working within IT service management and DevOps framework (incidents, service requests, enhancements, PI Planning).
Demonstrated ability to partner with business bridging IT and leading large complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications
SAFe Delivery Model experience or certification.
Experience in life sciences, biotech, or regulated commercial environments.
Familiarity with promotional content workflows, MLR review processes, and DAM/taxonomy frameworks.
Experience with speaker programming platforms (Medforce, Cvent) and field enablement tools.
Experience managing vendor relationships and platform migrations.
