Job Title: R&D Associate Scientist LIMS Development
location: Plano, TX
shift:8:00AM to 5:00PM (Mon-Fri)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled R&D Associate Scientist with a strong foundation in analytical chemistry and IT systems. This role focuses on supporting laboratory digital transformation initiatives by leveraging expertise in LabVantage LIMS, ELN, and LES platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate with global scientific teams and contribute to improving laboratory efficiency through digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Lab Operations and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement advanced functionalities within the LabVantage LIMS platform.
  • Partner with local and global stakeholders to gather business and laboratory requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and update training materials, including user guides and documentation.
  • Create instructional training videos to support onboarding and continuous system learning.
  • Conduct training sessions for users on LabVantage LIMS, ELN, and LES functionalities.
  • Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, including test script creation, execution, and documentation.
  • Assist in system optimization and troubleshooting to enhance laboratory workflows and data integrity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with LabVantage LIMS.
  • Working knowledge of LabVantage ELN and LES modules.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of analytical chemistry laboratory workflows and their integration with LIMS systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar application lifecycle management tools.
  • Experience in delivering or supporting system training within laboratory environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Power Apps suite.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Basic coding or scripting experience supporting laboratory or enterprise systems.
