US - Research & Development Engineer . This is a

Pay Range: $50 - $55.28/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate designs for manufacturability improvements and implement changes
- Develop robust processes that drive product and business goals
- Test products and analyze data to publish results
- Perform failure analysis using formal processes and communicate findings
- Create documentation and communicate status updates to leadership
- Train factory personnel during transition activities
- Travel within the US and/or internationally may be required - 10%
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- 1.5 years professional experience
- Degree in Engineering (Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering)
- Must be a US Citizen due to program security requirements
- Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
- Experience with inertial instruments
- Six Sigma certification and demonstrated use of tools
- Mastery of design tools appropriate for the field (MiniTab, Access, MS Office Suite, etc.)
- Previous program experience and success
