Our client, a leader in industrial automation and control systems, is seeking a US - Sr Advanced Software Engineer to join their team. As a US - Sr Advanced Software Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting innovative automation projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced control software solutions for automated systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy automation projects.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all software and control system designs.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand requirements and deliver tailored automation solutions.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience in automation programming and control system development.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming, including Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and Schneider/Modicon systems.
  • Experience with safety control systems and fieldbus protocols such as Profibus, EthernetIP, and ControlNet.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide other engineers.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%, including nights and weekends, with a valid driver’s license.
