  Sr Advanced Systems Engineer - Honeywell | Phoenix, AZ

Our client, Honeywell (Manufacturing & Technology Industry) is seeking a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer to join their team. You will be part of the engineering organization supporting the Next Generation Avionics Platform team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, systems thinking, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization. 

Job Title: Sr Advanced Systems Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $62.19 per hour

What’s the Job?

  • Develop, integrate, and verify Aircraft State and Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics applications for next-generation avionics platforms
  • Perform systems integration and verification activities across avionics and aircraft systems
  • Develop and validate system/software requirements for aerospace applications
  • Work with model-based systems engineering tools (e.g., Simulink preferred)
  • Interface and integrate aircraft systems such as flaps, landing gear, cabin pressure, FADEC, and others

What’s Needed?

  • Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Background in avionics systems and embedded systems development
  • Experience in systems/software requirements development, validation, integration, or verification
  • Knowledge of aircraft sensors and systems (Air Data, AHRS, GPS)
  • Experience with tools such as Simulink and/or SCADE (preferred)
  • Must be a U.S. Person (per requirement)
  • Engineering or Computer Science degree
