Description:
A company in the insurance, banking, or medical/financial services industry is looking for an Instructional Designer to work with the Program Manager and align with the prepared learning strategy. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive job and task analyses and needs assessments to identify appropriate training and performance learning solutions. You will design online self-paced, skill-based e-learning courses, including course goals, learning objectives, and module-level objectives. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to develop complex training curricula and programs, apply advanced eLearning technologies to create highly interactive digital learning experiences, and develop evaluation strategies to ensure learning outcomes are achieved.

Requirements for the role:
5+ years of instructional design experience
Demonstrated experience designing training for complex subject matter across multiple delivery modalities (instructor-led, virtual, self-paced eLearning)
Demonstrated proficiency with course authoring tools, graphics, animation, and audio editing software
Strong project management skills
Excellent creative, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Broad knowledge of instructional technologies and advanced proficiency in eLearning development tools
Clear and effective design of translating learning into Storyboards
Excellent ability to leverage Design Methodologies (ADDIE / SAM)
Strong ability to leverage AI tools
Experience working in fiscal/regulatory environments (insurance, banking, medical) preferred
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5+ years of instructional design experience
Master's degree in Instructional Design or a related field (preferred)
Or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
Technical Skills Required:
Adobe Creative Suite
Articulate Storyline
Rise 360
Vyond
Veed
Camtasia
Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Experience with Wrike (project management tool)
