This position is ideal for an experienced sourcing, procurement, or supply chain professional who can independently analyze complex information, identify risks and opportunities, recommend solutions, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage RFQ/RFP activities for steel components, including supplier communications, data collection, quotation analysis, and follow-up actions

  • Analyze supplier quotations, cost breakdowns, steel market trends, capacity inputs, and commercial terms to identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities

  • Develop and maintain cost models, capacity models, supplier trackers, and sourcing dashboards to support sourcing decisions

  • Identify pricing patterns, supplier performance trends, and supply base risks; recommend actions to improve cost, capacity, quality, delivery, and overall supplier performance

  • Develop and maintain supplier KPI scorecards and prepare materials for Quarterly Business Reviews

  • Support supplier screening, qualification, onboarding, and development activities across domestic and global supply markets

  • Evaluate supplier data and market information to support sourcing recommendations, supplier selection, and negotiation preparation

  • Partner with sourcing, supply chain, quality, engineering, logistics, finance, and legal teams to resolve sourcing-related issues and support project execution

  • Communicate analysis, recommendations, and risks clearly to internal stakeholders and supplier partners

  • Support process improvements within the Supply Chain organization by improving reporting, data accuracy, tools, and sourcing processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, Finance, or a related field

  • 5-8 years of related experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, commodity management, or a related analytical role; or 1 year of related experience with a Master’s degree

  • Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and cost analysis principles

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex supplier, cost, market, and capacity data and translate findings into actionable recommendations

  • Ability to evaluate information, exercise judgment, and recommend a course of action with limited guidance

  • Experience preparing and managing RFQs/RFPs, analyzing supplier quotations, and supporting supplier selection or negotiation activities

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors, and deadlines in an international and multicultural environment

  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and resolve issues using sound judgment and creative problem-solving

  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in the steel, solar, renewable energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure sector

  • Experience with global sourcing, supplier development, or commodity market analysis

  • Experience with Coupa, Malbek, Power BI, Excel or similar procurement, contract management, and reporting tools

  • Experience supporting supplier scorecards, Quarterly Business Reviews, cost modeling, or capacity planning
