Python (Dataswarm) Automation Engineer
Location: Onsite San Jose, CA, Yes, Hybrid option available
Role/Responsibilities: Very hands-on coding experience will be coding 80%+ of the time. Build and maintain the large scale systems for data infra in Meta, including backend services,public interface, and support for UI and CLI. Work towards project deliverables and goals according to the team's project plan. Deliver the projects on time, with high quality, and independently.
Minimum qualifications:
- 4+ years of programming experience in a relevant programming language, especially in Python.
- 4+ years relevant experience building large-scale infrastructure applications or similar experience
- Expert with Python, bonus on Rust
- Experience designing, analyzing and improving efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
- Experience building and shipping high quality work and achieving high reliability
- Experience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes
- Experience with intra- and inter-team collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
