Our client, a global energy technology leader, is seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Project Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Management, and Project Management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset that will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Systems Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL (100% Onsite)
Pay Range: $42.86/hour

What’s the Job?

  • Develop technical specifications and engineering requirements for mechanical auxiliary systems in accordance with company standards.
  • Review supplier proposals, conduct technical evaluations, and support technical negotiations and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, procurement teams, project managers, and engineering stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and warranty phases, including shop inspections and field troubleshooting.
  • Support proposal development and bid activities by providing technical expertise to the Bid Management team.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of gas turbine auxiliary systems, including air intake systems, acoustic enclosures, ventilation systems, and fire protection systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
