We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to join our Quality Control team. This role involves performing visual inspections to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspection of parts to ensure conformance to customer specifications.
- Inspect and gather product documentation, including material heat reports and certified material test reports (CMTRs).
- Communicate quality issues and document nonconformances/defects.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the quality documentation team to provide inspection reports and CMTRs.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports for all tests performed.
- Support lean activities and initiatives for quality improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols to promote a secure workplace.
- Assist the Warehouse and Quality team to address defects related to picking and packing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of related experience, particularly in Valve QC.
- Experience with hand tools such as calipers.
- Knowledge in dimensional testing and manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of valves and actuation.
Preferences:
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems is a plus.
