DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lay out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, or related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, or industrial production or processing systems.Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use, and lay out the sequence of tasksMeasure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves and fittingsJoin pipe sections, related equipment and secure in positionUse testing equipment to check systems for leaksDrill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets.Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools
and various power tools.
Willing to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Possess a suitable combination of education and experience to meet the requirements of this positionMust be a Pipe Fitter/Steamfitter Journeyman by tradeMinimum of 1 - 3 years industrial experience is preferredMust be able to work with various hand tools and operate an industrial powered fork truckDemonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting work orders and drawings.Able to work independently or as a team playerAble to take direction and communicate with othersHave excellent time management skills, organized and detail oriented
