Description

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Process Engineerfor a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Lexington, MA, 02421.Details of the position are as follows: 
 
Job Description: 
  • Pay: $60.00- $79.31/hr to start!
  • 6-month assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance.
  • Hybrid role, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in Lexington, MA!
  • Position will mainly be responsible for supporting downstream purification manufacturing operations, including Capture step processing, filtration (NF, UF/DF), chromatography column performance/integrity, and drug substance formulation and bottling activities.
  • Responsibilities also include monitoring process performance data, troubleshot operational issues, and provided on-call support to ensure reliable manufacturing execution and timely resolution of process deviations.
  • Position will also be responsible for collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to drive continuous process improvements, support investigations and deviation closures, and contribute to change controls and CAPA activities through thorough documentation and technical assessments.
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelors or Masters degree required.
  • 6+ years experience with downstream process development experience with a bachelors, and 3+ years with a masters.
  • Experience with filtration, chromatography, drug substance formulation, and column performance is required.
  • Experience with improving and developing consistency or robustness of processes above is preferred.
  • Experience with investigations, deviations, change controls, CAPAs in relation to processes listed above is preferred.
