Job Description:Must Have Skills:
• 5–10 years of strong hands-on SAP ABAP experience, including ABAP OO, Classical ABAP and RICEF objects.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA ABAP and the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
• Experience with Commodity Management processes, including Commodity Pricing Engine (CPE), trade processing, pricing and settlement.
• Hands-on debugging and enhancement experience with CPE formula-based pricing, /CPE/* tables and relevant BAdIs.
• Experience enhancing TSW Nomination and related commodity/trading processes.
• Strong expertise in CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL optimization, code pushdown and S/4HANA data models.
• Experience with RAP artifacts including CDS-based modeling, Behavior Definitions, behavior implementations, EML and service bindings.
• Hands-on experience with OData services (V2/V4), APIs, BAPIs, RFCs and Web Services.
• Experience with enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, Custom Fields and Custom Logic applications.
• Knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles, key-user extensibility, on-stack extensibility and side-by-side extensions.
• Experience with Adobe Forms, SmartForms, BRF+/Output Parameter Determination and flexible workflows.
• Knowledge of ATC checks, custom code remediation, performance tuning and SAP best practices for S/4HANA Cloud.
• Good technical understanding of MM, SD, FI, PP and EWM processes.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP and Business Application Studio is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Design, develop and implement custom ABAP and RAP solutions in SAP S/4HANA Commodity Management.
• Build and optimize CDS Views, AMDP logic and HANA-optimized custom code.
• Develop BAdI-based solutions across trade processing, commodity pricing and settlement.
• Enhance TSW Nomination and related Commodity Management processes.
• Develop and expose RAP-based business objects, OData services and API integrations.
• Develop and maintain RICEF objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, security, governance, ATC and Clean Core guidelines.
• Collaborate with Commodity Management functional consultants and Fiori/UI5 teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Prepare technical design specifications, estimates, unit-test evidence and knowledge-transfer documentation.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, performance optimization and production issue resolution.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and post-go-live activities.
• Coordinate effectively with onsite stakeholders and offshore delivery teams.
