Job Title: Buyer / Sourcing Specialist

Location: Houston, TX

Job Type: Full-time, W-2 Contract

Expected hours per week: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard business hours

Pay Range: $35.00-37.12 per hour 

Job Description:We are seeking a Buyer / Sourcing Specialist with hands-on experience using Oracle OSCAR and/or Oracle PASCAL to support sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination, and expediting activities in a fast-paced service and repair environment. The ideal candidate will have strong buyer-side ERP experience, exceptional system navigation skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring timely procurement of materials and services. Experience in oil & gas, MRO, repair, maintenance, aero-derivative, or turbomachinery environments is preferred, particularly in roles supporting urgent parts, supplier management, expediting, and short-cycle procurement activities. Candidates must be highly organized, detail-oriented, professional communicators with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and a strong understanding of buyer workflows and sourcing processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on buyer-side experience using Oracle OSCAR and/or Oracle PASCAL
• Strong ability to navigate multiple ERP modules, screens, and procurement workflows
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams
• Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and situational awareness
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in sourcing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in oil and gas, service, repair, maintenance, MRO, aero-derivative, or turbomachinery environments
• Experience supporting urgent parts, expediting, repair and overhaul components, or service-based procurement
• Familiarity with supplier dynamics, production downtime urgency, and short-cycle sourcing requirements
• SAP or similar modern ERP experience may be considered if paired with strong buyer workflow knowledge
