Job Duties:
- Perform laboratory testing, inspections, and evaluations according to established procedures and specifications.
- Prepare, label, maintain, and track samples for testing and analysis.
- Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Support quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Assist engineers and technical personnel with product development and validation testing.
- Maintain laboratory records, documentation, and testing logs.
- Follow all safety policies and laboratory procedures.
- Support investigations related to product quality, test failures, or manufacturing issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
- Laboratory environment requiring appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- Laboratory, quality, manufacturing, or technical experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or other sample/test tracking databases
- Electronic data collection and reporting systems
- Quality Management Systems (QMS) or quality documentation platforms
- Basic use of laboratory testing and measurement equipment, such as:
- Balances/scales
- pH meters
- Viscometers
- Microscopes
- Calibration and measurement instruments
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Chemistry, Engineering Technology, Applied Science, or related field preferred.
- Laboratory, quality, manufacturing, or technical experience preferred.
