Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator
Job Type: W2 Contract
Contract Duration: 6 Months, Possible extension 
Location: Claremore, OK 74017
Work Setting: Fully Onsite
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.

Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Training:

• Position is available on 2nd shift only.
• New hires will complete approximately 3–4 weeks of training on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.
• Overtime opportunities may be available, including coverage for alternate shifts and weekend work.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to support material handling and warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. This role involves operating forklifts, loading and unloading freight, moving inventory, and following established safety procedures. Candidates must be comfortable working at elevated heights while utilizing appropriate fall-protection equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage materials.
• Safely handle and transport freight throughout the warehouse.
• Read and follow work instructions, procedures, and operational documentation.
• Utilize basic computer skills to support warehouse activities.
• Assist with inventory and material movement tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
• Perform occasional outdoor duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months of related warehouse or forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math, reading comprehension, and written communication skills.
• Basic PC proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-movement environment.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift while loading and unloading freight.
• Comfortable working at heights of up to 20 feet while wearing a safety harness.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.

Work Environment

• Climate-controlled warehouse environment with heating and air conditioning.
• Fast-paced and occasionally noisy work setting.
• Occasional outdoor work may be required.

Dress Code & PPE

• Blue jeans (no holes), T-shirt, and steel-toe boots required.
• Additional PPE will be provided.
