Description:
- Prepare, pack, label, and process domestic and international shipments in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Receive incoming materials, inspect deliveries for accuracy and condition, and ensure proper documentation is completed.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Safely move materials throughout the warehouse while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Support hazardous material and air freight shipping activities in compliance with International Air Transportation (IATA) and DOT certifications.
- Verify shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing lists, and inventory records for accuracy.
- Maintain organized warehouse storage locations and ensure materials are properly identified and stored.
- Utilize SAP and other systems to process transactions, manage inventory, and track shipments.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, carriers, and logistics partners to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following company and regulatory standards.

- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while handling multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously.
- Navigate a noisy environment with constant movement of personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, hazardous materials requirements, and company safety standards.
- Respond quickly to operational demands while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Essential Requirements of the Role
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or material handling operations.
- Working knowledge of packing, loading, shipping, and receiving processes.
- International Air Transportation (IATA) certification and experience with hazardous air shipments.
- DOT shipping knowledge and experience with road/trucking regulations.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, correspondence, shipping documents, and safety procedures.
- Basic written communication and record-keeping skills.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and inventory-related tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience using warehouse or inventory management systems.
