Prepare, pack, label, and process domestic and international shipments in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Receive incoming materials, inspect deliveries for accuracy and condition, and ensure proper documentation is completed.
Load and unload freight using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Safely move materials throughout the warehouse while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Support hazardous material and air freight shipping activities in compliance with International Air Transportation (IATA) and DOT certifications.
Verify shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing lists, and inventory records for accuracy.
Maintain organized warehouse storage locations and ensure materials are properly identified and stored.
Utilize SAP and other systems to process transactions, manage inventory, and track shipments.
Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities as needed.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, carriers, and logistics partners to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following company and regulatory standards.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or material handling operations. Working knowledge of packing, loading, shipping, and receiving processes. International Air Transportation (IATA) certification and experience with hazardous air shipments. DOT shipping knowledge and experience with road/trucking regulations. Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, correspondence, shipping documents, and safety procedures. Basic written communication and record-keeping skills. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and inventory-related tasks. Basic computer proficiency and experience using warehouse or inventory management systems. |
