The Fountain Group is currently seeking a -------- Warehouse Operator I for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in -- Pearl River, NY.  Details for the position are as follows:

USA – Warehouse Operator I (Light Industrial) – 1st Shift
Location: Pearl River, NY
Pay Rate: $24.44/hour
Duration: 1 Year

Job Description

  • Perform warehouse operations including receipt of goods, system booking, put-away, internal material supply, shipping, invoice preparation, and inventory control.
  • Execute inbound and outbound warehouse activities in a cGMP-regulated environment.
  • Prepare, select, and stage materials for distribution and transportation.
  • Supply critical materials to support continuous manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and system data in compliance with cGMP requirements.
  • Operate powered warehouse equipment, including forklifts, inverters, stretch-wrap machines, and hand tools.
  • Follow warehouse SOPs, GMP requirements, and safety procedures.
  • Support warehouse continuous improvement and +QDCI initiatives.
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards and minimize manufacturing downtime related to material availability.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Required Skills

  • 0–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience.
  • Experience with warehouse receiving, put-away, inventory control, and shipping operations.
  • Knowledge of cGMP requirements and SOP-driven warehouse operations.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems and accurate transaction/data entry.
  • Hands-on experience operating forklifts and powered material-handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse documentation and inventory accuracy processes.
  • Experience handling materials in a regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP manufacturing warehouse.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement or +QDCI processes.
  • Experience supporting production material supply and manufacturing continuity.
  • Experience with invoice preparation and warehouse shipping documentation.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety and compliance programs.
