Chevrolet of Naperville is hiring an experienced, results-oriented Used Car Manager tojoin our leadership team! This is a strong opportunity for an automotive professional with a proven record in inventory management, vehicle acquisition, appraisals, and profit growth.

We are looking for a leader who can effectively manage all aspects of our pre-owned operation while developing a high-performing sales team and delivering exceptional customer experience

  • $120,000.00-$180,000.00 earnings potential

You Will:

 

  • Oversee all daily operations of the pre-owned vehicle department
  • Acquire inventory through auctions, trades, and direct purchases
  • Perform accurate vehicle appraisals and market-based pricing
  • Manage inventory levels, aging, merchandising, and turn rates
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales volume and profitability
  • Monitor leads, inventory performance, and deal structures to ensure operational excellence
  • Establish accountability through performance tracking, coaching, and ongoing training
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-focused department
  • Analyze monthly performance metrics and execute action plans for continued growth

 

You Have:

 

  • Proven experience as a Used Car Manager, Sales Manager, or General Sales Manager in a dealership environment
  • Strong appraisal, inventory acquisition, and inventory management skills
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, digital retailing tools, and dealership operations
  • Ability to balance volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction objectives
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development abilities
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • General Motors dealership experience is highly preferred
  • Professional references required
