Northstrat is seeking an experienced User Engagement Engineer with a systems engineering background to join an established space domain awareness (SDA) software development program spanning multiple locations.ResponsibilitiesDocument incidents for operationsTrack status of current incidents and provide status to usersInform users of development planning, status, and deliverablesManage user expectations on system capabilities and delivery timelinesElucidate system functionalityDevelop system tradecraft and user guides to support real‑world operationsSupport operations' transition from a legacy system to a modern architectureProvide informal over‑the‑shoulder training to usersConnect users to the customer for requests requiring approvalsConnect the customer to site personnel to support software delivery and system integrationFacilitate on‑site discussions and meetings with system users and stakeholdersRequirementsMust have TS/SCI with CI Poly GRAPHIC and be willing to be read into special access programs (SAPs) – no exceptionsRequired more than 5 years of system engineering experience in space systems or related domainsExperienced in space operations, space domain awareness (SDA)/space control, and indications and warningsPreferred QualificationsExperienced liaison between multiple organizationsExperienced briefing and interfacing with government leadershipExperienced facilitator of working groupsExcellent communicator, especially with remote teamsSelf‑starter and self‑advocate as the program does not have a large presence at this siteBenefitsNorthstrat values work‑life balance and offers a power‑of‑choice benefits program designed to meet employee needs, supporting wellness, healthy living, retirement investment and lifelong learning.Pay RangeCompensation is influenced by geographic location, federal contract wage rates, relevant experience, specific skills, certifications, and education.
