Job Description:
Provide a high level of technical support, affecting the reliability and utilization of the University's Multi-Function printers (MFP), and other converged technologies, includingsystems administration level management. This includes the installation, maintenance,troubleshooting, and monitoring of MFP, safety cameras, door access, panic alarms,emergency phones, and other systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Considerable knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures for computer and communications systems.
- Considerable knowledge of IP-based Multi-Function devices and their installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and monitoring.
- Working knowledge of electronics and electronics repair.
- Working knowledge of systems administration
- Considerable knowledge of networking and network protocols.
- Working knowledge of structured cabling systems such as copper, Cat5, Cat6 and coax. 7. Demonstrated ability to interact with contractors and co-workers.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage time and work independently.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
